Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Oncology team. The RN will provide high-quality care for patients with various solid tumor cancers throughout their treatment journey, from diagnosis to end-of-life care. Key Responsibilities Deliver nursing care in a patient-centered manner, ensuring adherence to infection prevention protocols and procedures. Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and provide telemetry monitoring for patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support the diverse needs of adult and geriatric patients. Assist in administering antineoplastic chemotherapy and manage related patient care tasks. Provide support and education to patients and families regarding treatment options and care plans. Floating to other Medical Surgical Oncology units as required. Qualifications Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting. BLS certification is required; ONS Chemotherapy certification is preferred. Experience in telemetry interpretation and monitoring is essential. Work Schedule Shifts available include 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Scheduling is subject to unit needs, with no set or blocked scheduling.
