Registered Nurse (RN) Join our dedicated team in the Medical Oncology and Benign Hematology unit, where you will care for adult and geriatric patients with solid tumor cancers throughout their treatment journey. Position Overview This position includes both day and night shifts in a rotating schedule. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, focusing on infection prevention protocols and addressing various medical-surgical needs. Duties and Responsibilities Care for patients with diagnoses such as Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Colon Cancer, and Esophageal Cancer. Assist with transitions to end-of-life care when necessary. Monitor telemetry and provide interpretation of telemetry readings. Float to other Medical-Surgical Oncology units as required. Qualifications 2 years of nursing experience required. BLS certification is required. Telemetry interpretation and monitoring skills are essential. Oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory. ONS Chemotherapy certification is preferred. Additional Information Staffing ratios aim for 1:4, but may reach 1:5 in busy periods. Weekend shifts will be determined based on unit needs, and there is no set or blocked scheduling offered.
