Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele We are currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry to join our team. This position involves working with patients in mixed acuity settings, including both progressive care unit (PCU) and medical-surgical (MS) patients. Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, monitoring vital signs and addressing patient needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while documenting care accurately. Perform IV starts and manage tracheostomy care, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Float between units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as necessary based on staffing needs. Shift Information This role operates on a 12-hour rotating schedule, where shifts may include days, nights, or a combination thereof based on the department’s requirements. Shift assignments will be reviewed every 4-week scheduling period. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required. EPIC experience is mandatory. Current BCLS certification is required. Previous oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory. Travel experience within healthcare settings is preferred. Patient Care Ratio The nurse-to-patient ratio for this position is 1:5.
