Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description This position involves providing patient care in a mixed acuity unit handling both medical-surgical (MS) and telemetry (Tele) patients. Responsibilities include managing a patient load with a ratio of 1:5, performing IV starts, and overseeing tracheostomy management. Shift Information 12-hour shifts, rotating between day and night as per department needs Night shift: 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required Experience with EPIC electronic health records system is required BCLS certification is required Previous oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory Previous travel nursing experience is preferred Expectations Healthcare professionals will be required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels based on nursing needs and staffing priorities.
