Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview This role involves providing nursing care for patients in a mixed acuity environment, specifically for medical-surgical (MS) and telemetry patients. The position may require rotating shifts, including days, nights, or a combination of both based on departmental needs. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels. Manage telemetry and medical-surgical patients effectively. Perform essential nursing tasks, including IV starts and tracheostomy management. Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5. Be flexible to float between units with equivalent or lower levels of acuity as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required. EPIC experience is necessary. BCLS certification is required. Oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
