Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oncology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing compassionate care to patients throughout their cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment and end-of-life care. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with various solid tumor cancers. Monitor patients and interpret telemetry data. Implement infection prevention protocols and minimize patient falls. Assist in the transition of patients to end-of-life care as needed. Float between MedSurg Oncology units as required. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. Experience in oncology preferred but not required. BLS certification is required. Telemetry interpretation and monitoring skills are essential. ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred. Work Schedule Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week. Variable weekend shifts based on unit needs. No set or blocked scheduling for permanent staff. Parking Information Parking options are available, including annual and monthly permit options.
