Registered Nurse (RN) Job Summary Join a dynamic Medical Oncology team where you will have the opportunity to care for patients throughout their cancer journey, from diagnosis to treatment and end-of-life care. We value committed professionals eager to make a difference in the lives of our patients. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adults and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, including all subtypes of solid tumor cancers. Assist in managing symptoms and providing support during treatment. Implement infection prevention protocols and address patient fall risks. Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry for efficacy and safety. Float to other Medical-Surgical Oncology units as needed to meet patient care demands. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. Telemetry interpretation and monitoring experience are essential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. ONS Chemo certification preferred. Working Conditions Staffing goals are set at a ratio of 1:4 but may reach 1:5 based on unit needs. Variable weekend scheduling according to unit demands.
