Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview This position involves providing care for patients on a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit, catering to both Medical-Surgical and Medical-Surgical patients with mixed acuity. Nursing staff may be scheduled for day or night shifts, or a combination based on departmental requirements. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in compliance with established standards and protocols. Monitor vital signs and manage patient telemetry. Administer medications and perform treatment procedures as directed. Handle IV starts and manage tracheostomy care effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Assist in floating to units with equivalent or lower acuity levels as necessary. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system is mandatory. Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required. Oncology experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Shift Details Currently seeking candidates for a Night shift position consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30). Shift assignments will be reviewed every four weeks based on staffing needs, though changes are not guaranteed. Parking Information Parking permits are available for agency staff, with various options offered to accommodate schedules: WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to designated garage. WB Annual Permit: Access to specific garages and lots with shuttle service on weekends and holidays. CXS Annual Permit: Access to multiple locations with varied hours of service. Refunds on unused future months for annual permits may be available; however, current and prior months are not refundable.
