Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the 3B/3C Stroke Telemetry Unit. This high-acuity, fast-paced medical-surgical environment specializes in the care of acute stroke and complex telemetry patients. Our 34-bed unit is committed to delivering evidence-based, protocol-driven care with a strong emphasis on patient safety, rapid intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities & Expectations Conduct and document frequent neurological assessments, including the NIH Stroke Scale. Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, responding to changes in real time. Ensure compliance with stroke core measures, including dysphagia screening and care plans. Administer medications according to BCMA standards, prioritizing safety and accuracy. Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, including providers, therapy, and case management. Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow in a high-turnover environment. Maintain a focus on falls prevention, skin integrity, and overall patient safety. Qualifications Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Completion of 8 hours of Stroke Training. Ability to read basic rhythm strips prior to arrival at the facility. Experience in a high-acuity medical-surgical setting is preferred.
