This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs while directing patient education and overseeing the activities of ancillary personnel to uphold professional nursing standards. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in Iowa. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Experience in the field is preferred, but not mandatory. Hours This is a full-time position with 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The schedule includes three shifts per week, every third weekend, and rotating holiday coverage. Employment & Health Requirements All candidates must provide proof of the following Employment and Health Requirements no later than five business days prior to the contract start date: Resume Two recent employment references Online verification of licensure or certification including expiration date and disciplinary actions BLS and ACLS certification cards (copy of both sides) Immunizations including:MMR (either two doses or positive titers) Varicella (positive titer or two vaccines) Polio Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination Current TDaP (within the last 10 years) Flu vaccination (required during flu season) Negative 2-step Mantoux test within one year or QuantiFERON Gold. If positive, provide proof of results and a chest x-ray. Proof of physical examination within the last year. 10 Panel drug screen within one month prior to the start date. Respiratory fit test within the last year (provided if not available). Criminal background check for all states lived or worked in for the past seven years, to be completed within 30 days of the start date. National and/or State Sex Offender Registry check. GSA (EPLS) and OIG checks within 30 days of start date. Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates for Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse. Completion of CareLearning education modules prior to the start date (further instructions will be provided). Holiday Coverage Holiday coverage is required for this position. PK-38508917
