This position offers opportunities to work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on tele/cardiac care for adult and geriatric patients. Shift Details 12-hour night shifts 36 hours scheduled per week Every other weekend requirement Unit Details Unit consists of 16 beds Patient to RN ratio: 4:1 Remote Tele Unit Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, documenting findings twice per shift. Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications MUST have EPIC experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry nursing. Strong proficiency in working with cardiac and telemetry patients. Neuro/stroke experience is highly preferred. Previous travel experience is highly preferred. Candidates must have their own vehicle. Reliable attendance, with no call-outs or attendance issues. Certification Requirements Current New York State Registered Nurse License Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Note: Requested time off must be noted prior to submission. Orientation is non-billable and 8 hours in length. Cancellation policy allows for up to 5 shifts to be canceled with a 2-hour notice.
