Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing bedside patient care in a dynamic 32-bed Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. Unit Information 32 bed Med/Surg/Telemetry unit with an average daily census of 17-22 patients. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 (1:6 during surgical staffing) supported by nursing assistants. Additional support from a Charge Nurse with a 1:2 patient ratio. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality direct patient care in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patient conditions and provide timely interventions as needed. Utilize Epic software for patient data management and documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Current RN license, verified through Nursys. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Completion of 8 hours of Stroke Training. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
