Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Department RN Medical / Surgical / Telemetry Employment Type Bedside patient care position Every other weekend and holiday required Unit Description This is a 32-bed Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit with an average daily census of 17-22 patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 (1:6 during surgical staffing), supported by nursing assistants. Additional assistance is provided by a Charge Nurse with a 1:2 patient ratio. Skills and Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) 8 Hours of Stroke Training National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Epic experience required License State License Verification through Nursys is required.
