Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a complex care unit specializing in medicine, orthopedic overflow, and long-term patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry and be prepared to handle a range of patient diagnoses. Job Responsibilities Monitor patients in a telemetry unit, providing appropriate care and interventions. Utilize rapid response and code teams as required for patient emergencies. Manage feeding tubes, blood product administration, and central line care. Perform phlebotomy and management of peripheral and PICC lines. Administer IVs and adhere to heparin protocols as needed. Care for patients with orthopedic trauma and those undergoing total joint replacements. Oversee surgical drains, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), and tracheostomy management. Implement isolation precautions and manage wound care, including wound vacs. Ensure effective communication and coordination within the healthcare team. Qualifications Must possess an active nursing license. BLS and NIHSS certifications are required. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on MedSurg/Telemetry. Previous experience in a charge role is required. Comfortable managing a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7. Experience with EPIC charting is necessary. Willingness to float as required and work every other weekend. Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work three 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
