Registered Nurse — MS/Tele (MSU) Scheduling Details Shift Hours: 1900p - 0700a Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed Call Off Policy: The facility may cancel up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours. First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes Local Nurses: Registered Nurses within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted. Locals accepted for LPNs. Required Licenses and Certifications Active New York Single State RN license required (Pending License not accepted; New York is not a Compact state). Required Certifications: BLS and valid NIHSS Certification required. Clinical Skills Required Experience in MS/Tele with cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and utilization of Rapid Response/Code teams. Proficient in nasal cannula and oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management. IV therapy and phlebotomy skills, with experience in peripheral line care/management and isolation precautions. Unit Information Patient Ratios: 1:5 Floating: Will be required to float within skill set. Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white.
