Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. Shift Notes 12-hour shifts starting at 1900 36-hour work guarantee Every third weekend required Floating within the same discipline is required Weekend Requirements Every third weekend is required. Holiday Requirements Travelers will be required to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. A limit of one day request off will apply between November 25-29 and December 23-27. Unit Specifics Types of patients/surgeries: orthopedic, urology, general surgery, oncology, and medical. Scrub color: Navy Blue Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg and/or Oncology experience required. High-acuity care experience is preferred. Experience administering Heparin, PCA, and epidural is required; chemotherapy experience is preferred if certified. First-time travelers are welcome; prior travel experience is preferred. Certification Requirements Active ACLS certification (AHA Preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted) Active BLS certification (AHA Preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted) Active NIHSS certification (may be obtained during onboarding) Profile Requirements Current work history Skills Checklist specific to Med Surg discipline One Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years Active Driver’s License PK-38675207
