Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. Shift Notes Start Time: 1900 Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating Required Holiday Requirements The traveler will be required to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day). There is a limit of 1 day off request between November 25-29 and December 23-27 for all travelers. Unit Specifics Types of Patients: Cardiac, Stroke, General Medical Patient Ratios: 1:5 or 1:6 for Nights Qualifications 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience - required Prior travel work experience - required Experience with EMR system EPIC - required Familiarity with medications such as Cardiazem, Nitro, Heparin (titrate), and Amiodarone - preferred Floating is required within the same discipline across local locations Required Certifications Active BLS Certification (AHA Preferred; will accept ARC or US Military certificates) - required Active NIHSS Certification - required Valid Driver’s License - required Orientation Dates November 23 December 7 December 21 Employee Separation Policy Any past employee cannot work travel in another market within the past 12 months. Local Radius Rule Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are currently being accepted at a reduced bill rate. This position is located in a Level 3 Trauma Center. PK-38688944
