Registered Nurse (RN) - Respiratory Med-Surg Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Respiratory Med-Surg unit. This 21-bed unit specializes in managing pulmonary diseases and caters to a complex patient population, including those requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. Candidates must thrive in a dynamic environment with rapid patient turnover and varying care needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population of adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients. Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Float as needed to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders. Qualifications Active Ohio RN license. Current BLS certification required. Minimum of 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience. Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips (competency test required on Day 1; failure of competency may result in immediate termination). Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory (no training or refreshers provided; lack of Epic proficiency may result in immediate termination). Additional Details No on-call requirement. Must be adaptable, efficient, and able to thrive in a high-volume setting. Holiday coverage is required. PK-38461973
