Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, 21-bed Respiratory Med-Surg unit specializing in the care of pulmonary diseases. This high-acuity unit manages a complex patient population, including those requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with rapid patient turnover and varying levels of care needs. Shift Information Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required. The position involves 36 hours of work per week. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population of adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients. Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders. Qualifications Active Ohio RN license. Current BLS certification required. A minimum of 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience. Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips; a competency test will be administered on Day 1. Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory; lack of proficiency will impact employment status. Additional Information No on-call requirement.
