Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in OB/GYN care to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. Shift Notes This position involves varied 12-hour shifts, with the possibility of both daytime and nighttime schedules. Weekend work is required every third weekend. Flexibility with schedule changes is essential. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria. Exercise sound clinical judgment based on scientific knowledge and nursing expertise. Collaborate with and provide guidance to non-RN staff, including LPNs and Unit Secretaries. Create a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB/GYN nursing is required. Completion of at least 1 travel assignment is required. Ability to function as a first assist and scrub for OB cases is highly preferred. Must possess an active Ohio or Compact RN License. Current certifications in BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association are required. Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required. Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification is required. Current Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification is required.
