Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN Job Description Provided care within the mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures of the health system. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the care of assigned patients during their shift, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with attention to age-specific criteria. Clinical judgments are based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also plays a critical role in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries. Flexibility with work schedule changes is essential. Shift Information Varied 12-hour shifts (3PM - 3AM and 3AM - 3PM) - negotiable schedule requests must be discussed prior to acceptance 36-hour guarantee Every 3rd weekend required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of OB experience (required) Completion of at least 1 travel assignment (required) Ability to function as a 1st assist and scrub OB (highly preferred) No holiday RTO will be accepted Certification Requirements Active Ohio/OH or Compact RN License (required) Active American Heart Association BLS (required) Active American Heart Association ACLS (required) Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (required) Active S.T.A.B.L.E.
