Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our infusion team. This role is essential in providing compassionate care to our patients within an outpatient oncology setting. Key Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and manage patient infusions. Monitor patients for side effects and reactions to treatments. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment options and manage expectations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EPIC). Schedule This position operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with shifts of 8 hours depending on departmental needs. There is no Saturday work required. Qualifications Current BLS and chemotherapy certification are required. A minimum of one year of experience in oncology or infusion nursing is required. Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records is mandatory; experience with BECON is preferred. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative working attitude. Demonstrated punctuality and dependability in previous roles.
