Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will have experience in pre-operative and post-operative care, particularly within cardiac care settings. Shift Notes Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour shifts, starting as early as 0600, with potential later starts based on case requirements. 40 hours per week with holiday rotation. No weekends or on-call responsibilities. May float to Vascular Holding and Diagnostic Cardiology as needed. Unit Details 19 pre/post rooms available. Patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:3. Responsible for prep/post care of patients including heart catheterization and cardiac procedures, with specific attention to groin and radial site management. Qualifications Minimum of 15 months of experience in Cath Lab, critical care, and/or PACU settings. Experience in pre-operative and post-operative recovery is required. Proficient in using EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system is mandatory. Experience in groin and radial site management and TR band management is essential. Must have at least 24 months of current experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, PACU, or Pre/Post Op Surgery. Willingness to work during 1-2 of the upcoming Winter holidays. Valid driver's license required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are mandatory.
