Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Shift Information This is a part-time position scheduled from 9 AM to 5:30 PM for three 8-hour shifts. Weekend call is required one day each Saturday or Sunday every 4.5 weeks, with night call approximately 4-5 times within a 6-week schedule. Job Description The registered nurse will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care by utilizing the nursing process. Responsibilities include: Directing and delegating appropriate tasks to co-workers during the implementation of patient care. Performing all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program, resulting in a Diploma in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Licensure/Certification: A valid nursing license to practice in the State of Ohio, along with current certifications in BLS/BCLS and ACLS.
