Job Opportunity Position: Registered Nurse - PCU Float Pool We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our PCU Float Pool. This is a night shift position that involves providing exceptional patient care across various units and potentially within other affiliated hospitals. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to nursing excellence and the ability to adapt to different clinical environments. Key Responsibilities: Deliver quality nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels. Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Assist in patient assessments and care planning. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in floating to other units or facilities as required. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting is required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring is essential. Experience with the Epic electronic medical records system is required. Schedule: This position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week during the night. Patient Ratios: Estimated patient ratios are 1:3-4, ensuring a manageable number of patients for quality care.
