Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to join our team. This position involves providing patient care and support within a dynamic healthcare environment, requiring adaptability to float between units as needed. The role includes working weekdays, some weekends, and rotating holidays. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients in a PCU setting, ensuring a patient ratio of 1:3. Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as required. Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients' conditions and document medical information accurately. Perform IV starts and manage telemetry monitoring for patients. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Proficient in IV start techniques and telemetry monitoring. Experience with Epic electronic health record system is required. Schedule This position entails working night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. CXS Annual Permit: Multiple parking locations with 24/7 access. Refund Information Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits.
