Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our PCU Float Pool, working in a dynamic environment that may require floating to multiple affiliated locations within the region. This role is a night position, involving 36 hours per week with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit setting. Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Start IVs and manage tele monitoring as required. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Assist in performing diagnostic tests and procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. Must possess current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH. Demonstrated experience with IV starts and telemetry required. Experience using EPIC electronic health record system is essential. Ability to work weekends may be required. Parking Information WB and CXS permits require annual payment and are not available as monthly permits. WMC permit provides monthly access to the garage at Wexner Medical Center. Additional options include WB and CXS permits for weekend and holiday access. Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits.
