Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves working night shifts and requires experience in telemetry and familiarity with electronic health records, specifically Epic. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Participate in patient education and discharge planning. Float to other units as needed to meet patient care requirements. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Experience with telemetry is essential. Epic experience is mandatory. Ability to work some weekends is necessary. Work Schedule This position is for night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, with specific scheduling details to be discussed during the interview process.
