Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a night shift. This role requires working 36 hours per week, focusing on patient care for mixed acuity patients. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a PCU setting. Monitor patient responses to medication titrations and treatments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Utilize CPAP/BiPAP therapy as required and manage patient needs effectively. Act as a charge nurse during assigned shifts, leading nursing staff and ensuring efficient workflow. Float to other units as necessary within the organization. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; less experienced first-time travelers are welcome to apply. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained. Ability to perform charge nurse responsibilities during night shifts. Work Schedule This position involves night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
