Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU), providing care for adult and geriatric patients with various chronic medical conditions. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a progressive care environment. Manage and monitor patient conditions, providing assessments and interventions as necessary. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Float within the healthcare organization as required. Participate in required on-call rotations as needed. Qualifications Current licensure as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience. Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Willingness to work some weekends as required. Comfortable in a mixed-acuity patient care setting. Shift Information This position requires working night shifts, where the nurse will be expected to complete three 12-hour shifts per week. Parking Information Agency staff can purchase parking permits through the designated parking provider. Options include annual and monthly permits with various access levels.
