Registered Nurse Specialty: PCU Float Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our PCU Float Pool team. The role requires flexibility to float to various locations and provide exceptional patient care within the assigned units. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Float to different units and potentially to other affiliated hospitals as needed. Monitor and assess patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation and management. Coordinate care activities with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required. Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale. Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring is necessary. EPIC experience is mandatory. Work Schedule This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours of work per week, with three 12-hour night shifts. Additional Information Weekend shifts may be required as part of the regular schedule.
