Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Patient Care Unit (PCU) specializing in cardiology. This position is focused on providing high-quality care to patients with heart failure, post-transplant, and those requiring cardiac ICU expertise. Shift Information Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts Days: Weekdays with some weekends Rotating holidays Floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity is required Patient Care The Registered Nurse will work directly with heart failure patients, ensuring optimal care and support throughout their treatment process. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the healthcare team. Educate patients and families on health management and medication compliance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient care objectives. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU experience is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring. Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is required. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred. Parking Information Parking permits require annual upfront payment and are available monthly. Options include various permit types for convenience.
