Registered Nurse Position Overview The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires flexibility and the ability to float within various units as needed. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs. Assess patient needs and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans. Monitor telemetry patients and manage critical situations as they arise. Participate in patient education and provide emotional support to patients and families. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse license. A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required; however, candidates with one year of experience will undergo a profile review by management. Must be able to successfully pass the telemetry test. Experience with telemetry monitoring is preferred. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Previous experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is required. Work Schedule This position involves a night shift with 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) and includes working every other weekend. Please note that annual parking permits require upfront payment and are not available on a monthly basis. A prorated refund may be accessible for unused future months on annual permits.
