Registered Nurse (RN) Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the PCU Float Pool. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across various PCU units. This role involves flexibility and adaptability, as the nurse may float to additional units or regional locations as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Perform IV starts and manage telemonitoring for patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery. Keep accurate and thorough patient records using EPIC software. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse Licensure. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required. Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIH is required. Experience in IV start and telemetry monitoring is essential. EPIC experience is mandatory. Schedule This position is for night shifts, working 3 x 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend shifts may be required. Additional Information This role may require floating to other affiliated locations, which are within a short walking distance. Parking options are available for agency staff.
