Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our PCU Float Pool. The ideal candidate will have experience in progressive care nursing and will be flexible to float between various units as needed. Shift Details This position requires a commitment to night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30. Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in progressive care units. Float to other units as necessary, with a focus primarily on PCU settings. Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient progress. Utilize electronic health records (EPIC) for documentation and patient information management. Qualifications Must hold a current RN license. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH required. Experience with IV starts and telemetry is necessary. Parking Information Agency staff have the option to purchase various parking permits for convenient access to parking facilities. Options include: WMC Agency Permit: Provides 24/7 access to the most convenient garage. WB Permit: Budget-friendly option with weekend and holiday access to select garages and shuttle service to the medical center. CXS Permit: Allows weekend and holiday access to certain garages, with perimeter surface lot availability. Additional Information Weekends may be required as part of the floating responsibilities.
