Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the PCU unit. This position is focused on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients with complex diagnoses, including DKA, acute respiratory needs (BiPap, high flow, Vent/Trachs), ETOH withdrawal, sepsis, and CPORTS. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Conduct assessments and monitor vital signs to evaluate patient conditions. Perform mandatory competencies including phlebotomy and IV placements. Utilize specialized medical equipment such as CADDS and PCA pumps. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. ACLS and BLS certification required. Float required to support multiple shifts. Weekend coverage needed every other weekend. Must be willing to work night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:00). Local candidates must be located more than 75 miles away. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
