Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse (RN) contributes professional clinical knowledge and skills in the delivery and management of patient care. Shift Details 0700 start time 36 or 48 hour guarantee available Floating required Every other weekend and holiday requirement No call responsibilities Unit Details Patient Ratios: 1:4 (can increase to 1:5) Floating required to all inpatient areas and emergency department Types of patients/surgeries include: CHF, Ablation, Angiogram, TCAR, EVAR, DKA, Stroke, Pacemaker, and Sepsis Scrub color: Navy Blue Orientation Dates 11/23 12/7 12/21 Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience required Mandatory reporter certification is required Ability to float to the emergency department and all inpatient areas First-time travelers are welcome Must float within the same discipline across local locations Certification Requirements Active ACLS certification Active BLS certification (AHA preferred) NIHSS Certification required State License Requirements Iowa nursing license must be active (including compact licensing) Facility Overview This position is located in a Level 3 Trauma Center, dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services.
