This role is essential in ensuring high-quality healthcare services are provided. Shift Information Start Time: 1900 Shift Guarantee: 36 or 48 hours available Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required Floating to various units required Unit Details Patient Ratios: 1:4 (with potential for 1:5) Floating required to all inpatient units and the emergency department Typical Patient Conditions: CHF, Ablation, Angiogram, TCAR, EVAR, DKA, Stroke, Pacemaker, Sepsis Uniform: Navy Blue Scrubs Orientation Dates November 9 November 23 December 7 Holiday Requirements Travelers are required to work on two of the three winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. A limit of one day off request is permissible between November 25-29 and December 23-27 for all travelers. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience required Must be a mandatory reporter First-time travelers are welcome Active Iowa or compact nursing license is required Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required A supervisory reference form completed within the last two years is required Driver’s license is required PK-38675211
