Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Position Details Patient Ratios: 1:4 (can go 1:5) Floating: Required to all inpatient areas and emergency department Types of Patients/Surgeries: CHF, Ablation, Angiogram, TCAR, EVAR, DKA, Stroke, Pacemaker, Sepsis Scrub Color: Navy Blue Orientation Dates: 11/23, 12/7, 12/21 Requirements 1+ years of experience in a similar role Mandatory reporter certification First-time travelers are welcome The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local areas Certification Requirements Active BLS (AHA Preferred; will also accept ARC or US Military certificates) Active ACLS (AHA Preferred; will also accept ARC or US Military certificates) Active NIHSS Certification State License Requirements Must possess an active Iowa or compact nursing license Additional Information This position must adhere to weekend and holiday requirements, as well as participation in floating duties.
