Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Float, Med Surg/Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Shift Notes Schedule: Nights - 4x12 hr shifts, 48 hrs/week (flexibility for 36 hrs/week available) Holiday Rotation: Requires working 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend On Call Requirements: None Unit Information Patient Ratios: 1:6 Bed Size: 130 Telemedicine responsibilities including reading telemetry strips Administering various drips such as heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin Floater role: Required to float across multiple units including Med Surg, Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and some post-procedural areas with no designated home unit Qualifications Minimum of 24 months of experience in Progressive Care, Stepdown, Med Surg, Tele, or Med Surg/Telemetry required Must be comfortable with floating among various units based on patient needs Proven experience and proficiency in managing drips including heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin Ability to confidently read EKG/ECG and perform all telemetry-related duties EPIC EMR experience required Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment with a passing score of 80% during onboarding Preferred Qualifications De-Escalation Certificate (SAMA, MAB, MOAB, CPI) preferred (can be obtained during onboarding) NIH Stroke Scale certificate - nice to have (can be obtained during onboarding) Certification Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) De-Escalation certificate required (CPI, MOAB, MAB, SAMA) PK-38514585
