Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Description Join a 24-bed telemetry unit equipped to care for patients requiring step-down services. The unit features large rooms with private bathrooms and showers, promoting comfort and privacy for patients. Our team approach to nursing ensures comprehensive care is provided efficiently and effectively. Patient Ratios 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio for step-down patients 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on day shifts 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on night shifts Required Skills and Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Completion of 8 hours of stroke training State license verification Key Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse in the step-down unit, you will engage in patient care activities, including medication administration, assessments, and the development of care plans. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Dress Code Navy blue scrubs are required for all staff members.
