Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Information Nights (7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.) Overview This position entails working 36 hours per week in the Comprehensive Medical Unit while occasionally floating between various Medical-Surgical units, such as Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. Weekend shifts are required every other week, and there is no call requirement. Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical unit. Monitor and interpret telemetry data; proficiency in reading telemetry is mandatory. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and updated patient records using the Epic EMR system. Support patients and families through education and communication about their care plans. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of current/recent experience in Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing. Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Current proficiency in Epic electronic medical records is mandatory; refresher classes are not available. Ability to pass telemetry competency on the first day of employment; failure to do so may result in termination. Additional Information Unless the RN is a returning traveler, the only start date available is November 16th.
