Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Information Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Minimum Years of Experience 3.0 years Certifications/Requirements BLS/BCLS certification required Description This position involves working primarily on a Comprehensive Medical Unit, with occasional floating to various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. The schedule requires working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend mandatory. There is no on-call requirement. Key Responsibilities Provide patient care in a comprehensive medical environment Float between various Med-Surg units as needed Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Effectively use the Epic electronic medical record system Perform telemetry monitoring and assessments Qualifications Active BLS certification A minimum of 3 years of current or recent Telemetry or Stepdown experience is required Proficiency in reading telemetry is mandated, with competency testing on the first day Epic EMR proficiency is required; refresher classes or additional training will not be provided Other Requirements Holiday coverage is required.
