Emerald Health Services is hiring a Travel - Electrophysiology Tech

Shift: Variable/ 8's 10's or 12's
Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience
  • ARRT Advanced
  • Trauma Experience
  • Flouro Permit
  • RCIS
  • RCES
  • BLS
• Department: EP Lab
• Position: EP Tech
• Average Daily Census: 6-8 with 1 dedicated lab room
• Shift Options: 8s, 10s, or 12s
• No Call Requirements
• Float to Cath Lab if needed
• Required Certifications:
o BLS
o ARRT Advanced
o Flouro Permit
o RCIS
o RCES
o If candidate has ARRT they must have CA license with flouro permit
o Will also take a CVT, RCIS or RCES candidate
• Electrophysiology Procedure Experience Required:
o Scrub
o Recording/Mapping
o Ablation equipment
o Arrhythmia Induction
o Baseline Measurements
o Cardiac Ablation
o Cardiac Mapping
o Cardioversion
o Conduction Studies
o Electrophysiology Evaluation
o Insertion/Programming of AICDs (Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators)
o Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure
o Pacemaker Insertion
o Tilt Table Study
• Preferred skills:
o Trauma Experience
o Pacemaker/defib device placement
• Patient Population:
o Geriatrics, Adults and adolescents
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Accepts 1st time travelers
• Scrubs Provided on unit
