Job Description

Emerald Health Services is hiring a Travel RN - Cath Lab

Shift/Hours: Days / 7a-3:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week, Requires On Call 2-3 nights per week and every third weekend.
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: 
  • minimum 1 year clinical experience in Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in Clinical Care area. 
  • Requires BSN preferred; 
  • active state RN license; 
  • current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certification; 
Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physicians continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individua cases and insures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients conditions continuously while in the Cardiovascular Lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
