Critical Care Tele RN 's- . Cardiac and neuro floor. Must have drip experience. BLS and ACLS needed Will be scheduled for holiday coverage. Must have COVID vaccine. ***Ratio is 1:5 for nights and 1:4 for days*** Ratio may fluctuation higher depending on need. Drip experience needed: - Calcium channel blockers - Betablockers - Cardizem - Amiodarone - Lidocaine - Nitroglycerin - Insulin - Heparin General Knowledge Regarding Drips • Place Patient on dinamap and notify telemetry what IV medication is infusing. • Monitor heart rate and B/P carefully for response to medication (desired or adverse). • Monitor and record HR and B/P q 15 minutes upon initiation and while titrating. • Monitor and record in EMR vital signs q hour when no longer titrating . • ALL OF THESE DRIPS HAVE EMR POWER PLANS WITH STARTING RATES, END RATES AND TITRATION GUIDELINES!!! BE FAMILIAR WITH THE POWERPLAN!!
