Under the supervision of the EKG/EEG/ECHO Supervisor and following established technical standards, this position provides ultrasound images of the heart and related structures of patients of all ages for physician interpretation. The Echocardiographer must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, be capable of gathering and assessing information relative to the patient's age-specific needs, and provide the care needed to achieve the desired clinical outcomes. The Echocardiographer must be able to understand and modify the therapeutic approach in response to the patient's nonverbal reactions to therapy, psychosocial needs, physical limitations and any other age or illness specific issues.


As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance.  Facility As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Requirement Description

  • 2+ years Echo/Cardiac experience
  • MUST have experience with ALL ages groups - Required 
  • ARDMC (RDCS) required
  • This is a small community without public transport.  Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.  This is a firm requirement.
