Job Description

Emerald Health Services is hiring a Travel RN - ER

Shift: Days / 6:45a-7:15p, 12x3, 36 hrs/week, EOW

Length: 13-26 weeks

Requirements:

  • NC license
  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • NO First time traveler
  • Vents, IV Start, Triage, Telemetry, Conscious Sedation
  • PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
  • SANE preferred
  • BCLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
12hr Days, will accept 36hrs only. 13-26 week contracts available!
EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED.
The emergency department services infants through geriatrics requiring PALS, ACLS emergency care. The ED also cares for admission patients holding for an inpatient room that require admission level care at the ICU and medical unit level. The community hospital setting requires the primary ED RN to complete all tasks for patients independently including blood draws, IV starts, ortho splinting, forensics, and transportation. Daily Census= 65. 17 Rooms/beds. PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
Certifications REQUIRED: ACLS and PALS. (Preferred: SANE).
Skills REQUIRED: Vents, IV Start, Triage, Telemetry, Conscious Sedation.
Minimum Experience Required: 2 years.
Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: NO.
12hrs of Orientation.
