Springfield Hospital’s Emergency Department, located at 25 Ridgewood Road in Springfield, VT, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Upon arrival, unless your condition requires being seen by a Doctor or Physician’s Assistant immediately, you will be promptly screened by an Emergency Department Nurse to determine the severity of your condition and the appropriate course of treatment.

Our Emergency Department at Springfield Hospital is fully staffed around the clock and serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year.

MINIMUM 3 months previous travel experience REQUIRED - NON-NEGOTIABLE (more is preferred)

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.  RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!  NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). 

Traveler must be willing to work holidays, including weekends before (If Needed/Scheduled).  RTO during these holidays will not be approved.   Thanks!  

Non-billable orientation:  0hrs
Holiday  1.25%
Call, Call-back and Charge:  Not applicable for this need

NO OT rate will be the same as hourly pay

Local travelers (those who reside within 50 miles of facility) not eligible for posted rate.  Please upload travelers at 10% off posted rate/hour


Requirement Description

PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD TRAVELERS WHO DO NOT MEET END DATE AND BONUS REQUIREMENTS!  
  • 2+ years of current ED experience in a hospital setting - Required
  • 3 months MINIMUM travel experience required
  • Bachelor Degree - Preferred
  • ALL CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED.  NON-NEGOTIABLE
  • This is a small community without public transport.  Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.  This is a firm requirement.
